Want to increase your Powerball prizes 2, 3, 4, 5, or even 10 times? Who doesn’t? All you have to do is add the Power Play feature to your ticket and if you win any of the secondary prizes, you have the chance to boost your winnings. If you want to find out how, take a look at our guide to Power Play!
What Is the Power Play Feature?
The Power Play feature is the multiplier in the US Powerball lottery. This means that it can increase the prizes in the game for those who add it to their ticket.
The multiplier is optional and it comes at an additional fee of $1.00 per ticket. It only applies to secondary prizes, but it can increase them significantly. Here’s what Power Play can do for you:
It can double the $1 million second prize in the US Powerball.
It can increase all the other secondary Powerball prizes 2, 3, 4, or 5 times.
When the Powerball jackpot is lower than $150 million, there is also a 10x Power Play number in the game.
It does not apply to the jackpot.
How Does Power Play Work?
When you add Power Play to your Powerball ticket, you have the chance to win more in the game. You can win 2, 3, 4, 5, or even 10 times more with the multiplier. Here’s how it works – all the secondary prizes are increased according to the drawn Power Play number. While it does not apply to the jackpot, it can double the $1 million second prize in the game.
